He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James Alfred and Marie Hilley Hester, Sr.; and his brother Wayne Hester. He is survived by: his wife Debra McCrary Hester; his daughters, Ashley Hester Turner (Dusty) and Lynsey Hester (Darrin Norris); his sister Sarah Hester Ross (Scott) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Jake Helms, Zayn Norris, Zoey Norris, Sam Turner and Lilly Turner. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
