He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Ellerbee and Willie Lee Holliman Ellerbee; his wife Doris McDaniel Ellerbee; and his siblings, Robert Lee Ellerbee (Margaret) and Eleanor Jimmerson (Alvin).
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Ellerbee (Francine) of Watkinsville and Kevin Ellerbee (Lola) of Molena; his granddaughters, Crystal Messner and Megan Barker; and his nieces, Andrea, Brenda, Linda and Bonnie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
