James E. Burnette Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Burnette of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Burnette and Sallie Mae Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Joyce Humphrey Burnette; his children, Terri Brock, Toni Watkins and Matthew Burnette (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Bray, Levi Parker, Troy James Burnette and Maddi Hoodenpyle; his close friend Bandit; his brother Hulon Burnette (Joy); and his sibling's children, Kathy Pollard (Shane), Chris Burnette (Jena) and Cassie Johnson (Brent). He is also survived by many loving cousins and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored for blood donations to the American Red Cross or donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at 3 International Drive, Suite 200 Rye Brook, NY 10573 in Memory of Pop.
