He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie H. and Mable; and his wife Mary Moorefield McCune. He is survived by: his cousin McCune; his daughters, Christine Ellington of Saint Simons Island and Julie Jones (Mark) of Thomaston; and his grandchildren, Ben Ellington (Dawn) of Williamsburg, VA, Anna Wilson (Dusty) of St. Simons Island and Ashley Thompson (Carter) of Cordele. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
