It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Harwell Salter of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James F Harwell and Alpha Chapman Harwell; her husband Paul Bethel Salter; and her sister Frances Rackley. She is survived by: her children, Mary Boyer (Forrest) of Statesboro and Paul Bethel Salter Jr. of Decatur. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
