He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelley Laverne Gay and Georgia Lee Gay; and his brother Bill Gay. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gay of Thomaston; his children, Sue Johnson (Mike) of Griffin, Andy Gay (Darlene) of Meridian, MS, Kimberli Yarbrough (Alan) of Thomaston and Ken Hopkins of Savannah; and his siblings, Rita Gay of Pennsylvania, Michael Gay (Joann) of Arizona, Yumi Gay of Florida, Riki Gay (Gerri) of California and Sam Gay (Danielle) of California. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
