It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Charles Ford Sr. of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ford and Irene Ford Garrett; his son Mark Smith; and his brother Jackie Ford. He is survived by: his son Jimmy "Jim" Ford Jr. of Georgia; his siblings, Charles Ford of Florida, Rhonda Taylor of Hazelhurst and Charlene Hamm of Hazelhurst; his aunt Laverne Hayes of Newnan; and his uncle Walter Allen of Carollton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
