He was predeceased by: his parent Edgar S.. He is survived by: his parent June Hicks; his wife Deborah Collins Hicks; and his siblings, Yslan Hicks-Jones (Bill) of Little Rock, AR and Edgar Stennette Hicks (Deborah) of Eufaula, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
