He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Henry King and Ida Bell Norris King; his wife Vivian Selph King; his brother Tink King; his granddaughter Whitney Paige Grim; and his sister Faye Roebuck.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Lentz (Bobby) of Snellville and Danny King (Joy) of Warner Robins. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
