He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Franklin McDaniel, Sr. and Florette Parker McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Billie Ann McDaniel of Thomaston; his children, Joel McDaniel of Thomaston and Johnnie Ann Daniel (Dana) of Thomaston; his sisters, Agnes Hanson and Edna Smith; and his pets, JoJo and Lucy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
