He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Smith Brodnax and William Travis Brodnax, Sr.; and his siblings, Elinor Brodnax Wilson, Billy of Thomaston, GA. and Carlton Brodnax of Thomaston, GA..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Franklin Brodnax; his children, Johnny Brodnax (Sandy) of Thomaston and Trish Nigro (Chris) of Clemson, SC; his grandchildren, Heath Brodnax (Stephanie), Jonathan Brodnax (Megan) of Thomaston, Cindy Smoak (Will) and Alex Nigro of Clemson, SC; and his sister Joan Brodnax Hill of Thomaston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
