He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harvey Garner Sr. and Bertha Mae Parker Garner; his daughter Tracie McCoy; and his brother Lester Garner. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garner of Thomaston; his sons, Timothy M. Garner (Maria) of Meansville and Robbie L. Garner (Toye) of Pike County; and his siblings, Mack Garner of Thomaston, Donald Garner (Gail) of Thomaston, Pete Garner (Patricia) of Tennessee, Dimple Sullivan (Billy) of Forsyth, Eileen Dowdy of Thomaston and Shenna Brawner (Walt) of LaGrange. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
