She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lowman and Glenda Lowman; her daughter Lisa Wheeler Clay; and her siblings, Steve Lowman and Kim Lowman.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Wheeler; her children, Wendy Wheeler Halsey (Ryan) of Thomaston, Niki Wheeler (Brandi) of The Rock, Billy Wheeler (Crystal) of Cohutta, GA and Dell Wheeler (Debbie) of Thomaston; and her siblings, Timmy Lowman of Hickory, NC, Amy Lowman of Hickory, NC and Diane Lowman of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
