She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Birdsong and Sara Foy Birdsong; her husband Charlie Smith; and her brother Jimmy Birdsong. She is survived by: her daughter Donna Hood (Mike) of Thomaston; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Birdsong of Thomaston and Katherine Buchanan; her grandsons, Joshua Culverhouse (Terilyn), James Hood (Chelsea) and Travis Hood (Lindsay); and her great grandchildren, Charlie Culverhouse, Olivia Hood and Evelynn Hood.
