We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2019, at the age of 86, Laverne Newman (Thomaston, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Hanson and Iveel Garrett Hanson; and her husband Leon Newman. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Crutchfield (Ray) of Thomaston Ga; her granddaughter Casey Hogan (Sam) of Valdosta Ga; her sister-in-law Betty Elrod of Thomaston Ga; and her great grandchildren, Claire and Emory Hogan of Valdosta Ga.
