She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hawkins and Bessie Winters Hawkins; her son Greg Franks; and her siblings, Buddy Hawkins, Elton Hawkins, Troy Hawkins, Lawrence Hawkins and Hazel Hawkins Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Maples (Vaughn) of Griffin Ga, Marsha Lynn Franks, Tammi Pollard (Grady) and Michael Franks (Elaine) of Thomaston Ga; and her grandchildren, Kevin Franks, Alex Rudolph (Jessica), Joseph Franks (Lacy), Tod Franks (Kelly) and Robin Franks (Kayla). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
