She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Lee Edmonson; her brothers, Clarence James Rutherford and Benny Frank Rutherford; and her sisters-in-law, Priscilla Rutherford and Yvonne Taunton Rutherford.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Salter (Gene) of Thomaston and James Edward "Eddie" Edmonson (Sandra) of Barnesville; and her sisters, Betty Rutherford Harrison and Clayra Rutherford. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
