He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Jackson Howell, Sr. and Ruby Beeland Howell; and his siblings, Marion Bruce Howell and Sandra Rose Howell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyce Collins Howell; his daughters, Cindy Howell Marshall (Wade), Becky Howell Montgomery and Leisa Howell Collins (James); and his grandchildren, Brynn Gibson (Jamie), Ryan Watkins (Christy), Geoff Dean (Katie) and Jake Scott (Rachel). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
