She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. "Ben" Braswell and Brina Thigpen Braswell (James A. Franko). She is survived by: her children, Dr. James B. Franko (Lisette) of Roanoke, VA and Angella Burns (John) of Fayetteville, GA; and her friend Beth Ellington. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
