Ophelia Short Googe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ophelia Short Googe of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Short and Beula Hogg Short; and her husband Martin Vernon Googe. She is survived by: her children, Delorese Thompson (Tommy) of Macon, Gloria Foster (Larry) of Thomaston, Pruitt Googe of Shreveport, LA and Glenn Googe (Diane) of Thomaston. She is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First United Pentecostal Church of Thomaston at 3409 Barnesville Hwy Thomaston, GA 30286.
