He is survived by: his wife LaRose Russell Jones of Decatur; his son Rodney Barron Jones (Lisa) of Atlanta; his grandson Cole Russell Jones of Atlanta; his sibling's children, Linda Best (Ralph) of The Rock and Davy Jones (Kayla) of Thomaston; and his siblings-in-law, Donnie Russell of Peachtree City and Sheila Phillips (Raymond) of Jefferson, GA..
