He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Rogers and Frances Durrough Rogers; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Ellington Rogers of Thomaston; his children, Ashley Bagley (Josh) of Thomaston and Jordan Rogers (Chelle) of Thomaston; his siblings, John Wallace, Belinda Mazurkiewicz of Alabama and Elizabeth Green; his grandchildren, Kolton Snyder, Levi Bagley and Ella-Kate Bagley; and his nephew Matt Teal (Amanda) of Warner Robins.
