She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Buchanan, Sr. and Clara Mae Argo Buchanan; and her brother James Edward "Jimmy" Buchanan, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Keith Piland of Thomaston; her daughters, Ashley Bostwick (Mark) of Zebulon and Kristin Meeks of Thomaston; her brother Ron Buchanan (Theresa) of Griffin; her grandchildren, Tanner Meeks, Asher Meeks, Konner Meeks, Chloe Meeks, Chandler Blessitt (Abigail), Caleb Bostwick and Gabriel Bostwick; and her great grandchildren, Noah Bostwick, Ava Kulp, Lakin Blessitt and Lane Blessitt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Upson County Empty Stocking Fund, P.O. Box 375, Thomaston, GA 30286 or donations can be dropped off at the Heritage Pregnancy Center.
