He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blackmon and Carolyn Powers Blackmon; and his siblings, Chris Blackmon, Mark Blackmon, Wayne Blackmon and Diane Joiner.
He is survived by: his wife Denise A. Blackmon of Thomaston; his children, Randall Blackmon (Karri) of Kingston, NC. and Beth Criswell (Thomas) of Alabama; and his brother Carlton Blackmon (Linda) of Thomaston. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
