She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Perdue and Charlotte Phillips Perdue; her daughter Teresa Brawner; and her sisters, Karen Ford and Elizabeth Perdue.

She is survived by: her son Jerry Brawner (Christie Cooke) of Thomaston; her siblings, Suzanne Palmer of Senoia, GA and James Perdue of Thomaston; and her granddaughters, Sarah Brawner and Meghan Brawner.
