She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Dees and Emmie Harris Dees; her husbands, Thomas F. McCullough and Doyal Chanclor; her daughters, Irene Blakely, Lois Nicholson and Betty Ard; and her brothers, Rufus Dees and Tommy Higner.

She is survived by: her children, Janette Hoyal of Thomaston, Linda Sandefur of Molena, Lilly Giddens of Yatesville and Albert McCullough of Thomaston. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 18 great-great granchildren, several nieces and nephews.
