It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Floyd Portwood of Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Rollie Portwood; and his sons, Robert Dean Portwood, Jason Fathead Carter and Richard Bubba Portwood. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hardy Portwood (Cindy Portwood); his children, Alicia Poteat (Downey) and Brandon Portwood (Sherri); and his siblings, Ronnie Portwood (Pam), Robin Gross (Jerry) and Rita Towery. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Roger Portwood Fund at Coggins Funeral Home.
