He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Barnes Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Hardage (Jimmy) of Yatesville Ga and Al Pierce (Vicki) of Bumpass Va; his grandchildren, Traci Thompson and Sarah Moore; and his great grandchildren, Pierce Thompson, Ally Thompson and Jason Alva Moore.
