He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie (James Bement) and Naomi (Ross Henson); his siblings, Phoeba Kent of Salisbury, NC and Roger Trawick of Thomaston, GA; his granddaughters, Ariel Gaddy and Lily Henson; and his nieces, Rosemary Kent of North Carolina, Martha Forrest of North Carolina and Jackie Leonard of North Carolina.
