It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann (Thomaston, Georgia), who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Engle and Blanche Engle; her husband George A. "Buddy" Gassett; and her siblings, Doris Shumate and Billy Engle.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Gassett (Helen) of Thomaston, Todd Gassett (Mary) of Thomaston and Tandy Gassett (Crystal) of Thomaston; and her brothers, Jimmy Engle (Glenda) of Thomaston and Thomas Engle (Jackie) of The Rock.
