Sara Gloria Pilcher Bishop Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021, at the age of 80, Sara Gloria Pilcher Bishop of Thomaston, Georgia, born in Meansville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Evans Pilcher and Dora Mae Killingsworth Pilcher; her daughter Rhonda Bevel; and her sister Opal Salter. She is survived by: her children, Renie Gibson (Rick), Randy Bishop (Kim) and Rodney Bishop; and her siblings, Douglas "Bubba" Pilcher, Elaine Berry and Joan Blount. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the request of the family there will be no stated visitation but Mrs. Bishop will lie in state at Coggins Funeral Home until the day of the graveside service.
