He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Felton and Josephine McKinley Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Betty Robertson Brooks; his children, Carol Brooks Wallace (Jeff) of Thomaston, Monty Ellis (Starlett) of Griffin and Tracy Ellis (Kim) of Marietta; and his siblings, Jo Ann Miles (Terrell) of Thomaston and Byron Brooks (Jimmie Jo) of Silver Creek. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
