He was predeceased by: his brother Ron Brown. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ledford Brown; his sons, Stephen A. Brown, Jr. (Madelyn) and Ken Brown (Kim); his stepchildren, Christopher Ledford, Joshua Kennedy and Franki Askew (Josh) of Hampton, GA; his sister Beverly Davenport of Madison, WI; his granddaughters, Jessica Nixon (Jonathan) of Byron, GA and Stephanie Mann (Michael) of Winterville, GA; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexis Kennedy, Bryson Kennedy, Brett Kennedy, Parker Askew and Jonnay Askew.
