He was predeceased by: his parents, Inman Thomas Goolsby and Merle Taunton Goolsby; his siblings, Becky Mitchell (K. J.), Tommy Goolsby, Sharon Hilderbrand (Marvin) and Butch Goolsby; his brother-in-law James Carroll; and his granddaughter Crystal Hutson.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Joy Goolsby; his children, Richard Goolsby (Nikki), Chad Archer (Leslie), Thomas Sanspree and Rose Goolsby; his grandchildren, Mary, Cameron, Cara, Chase and Malachi; and his sister-in-law Malonie Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
