He is survived by: his parents, Bettye Ward Shiflet of Thomaston and Ed Shiflet; his children, Summer Shiflet (Dylan Johnson) of Thomaston and Rustin Shiflet of Thomaston; his siblings, Bruce Shiflet of Brunswick and Allison Henderson (Rod) of Oconee County; and his grandchildren, Max Shiflet, Waylon Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Madden Shiflet.
