He was predeceased by: his son Mark Gilbert; his siblings, Harrington Gilbert and Feburia Reedy; and his sister-in-law Anne Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Eunice R. Gilbert; his daughter Lisa Gilbert; his siblings, Jimmy Gilbert, Ricky Gilbert (Janet), Robert Gilbert and Nyoka Rowe; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Anthony Gilbert and Maria Gilbert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
