She is survived by: her daughters, Tammie Herring (Scott) and Angela Wheless (Chet); her grandchildren, Keith Herring (Betania), Katie Bishop (Jeremy), Ali Johnson (Landry) and Niki Ellington; her great grandchildren, Hallie Bishop, Alexander Herring and Kendall Bishop; and her siblings, Gloria Smith (Billy), Alma Newman, Sybil Bryan, Melton Piper (Margaret) and Dempsey Piper. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
