She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlow Howard and Ada Geromie Skipper; her husband Rev. William Roscoe Pitts; her children, Catherine Anne Pitts, Howard Lee Pitts and Larry Roscoe Pitts; and her siblings, Ed Howard, Earl Howard, Jack Howard and Idelle Chambley.
She is survived by: her sons, William Rayford Pitts of Thomaston and John David Pitts (Lisa) of Hay Market, VA; her brothers, Bill Howard (Eleanor) of Reno, NV and Bob Howard (Annie Ruth) of Atlanta; her daughter-in-law Emily Taylor Pitts of Thomaston Ga; and her sisters, Betty Joyce Wright of Thomaston and Linda Faye Gros (Horace) of Louisiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
