She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Jones and Lula Durdan Jones; her spouse Russell Hampton; and her siblings, Paul, Bonnie, Ellis, Winnie and Rosie.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Lodge (John), Becky Calhoun (Cleveland), Wanda Hampton, Gary Hampton (Lisa) and Pershawn Benedict (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Ricki Kirchen (Paul), Adam Calhoun (Vanessa), Kirk Hampton (Chloe), Kayla Odum (Jacob), Alexis Hampton and Emma Benedict. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
