She was predeceased by : her parents, Phillip Mathew Hopkins and Dorothy V. Brown Hopkins; her fiancé Darrell Bray; her daughter Rhonda Jean Beason; and her siblings, Edward Mathew Hopkins, Fay Clark and Vicky Hopkins.

She is survived by : her son Ronald Eugene Beason of Michigan; and her sisters, Martha Nobles of Pelham, GA, Betty Wilson of Pelham, GA and Phyllis Daughtry (Wade) of Cairo, GA. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
