With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eloise Virginia Griffin Dampier of Tifton, Georgia, born in Lenox, Georgia, who passed away on August 18, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Griffin and Lillie Mae Williams Griffin; her husband Jack Calvin Dampier, Sr.; her siblings, A. G. Griffin, Florene Hood, Alma Waldrop and Margaret Goff; and her granddaughter Giny Dampier.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack C. Dampier, Jr. of Alapaha, Dana Andrew Dampier of Soddy Daisy and Roger Dale Dampier of Crawfordville, Florida; and her granddaughters, Amanda Herrin, Trina Davis and Miranda Dillard. She is also survived by three great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; two great-great grandsons; and five great-great granddaughters.
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed at the graveside.
