It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Bell Roland Rogers (Tifton, Georgia), born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Roland and Martha Price Roland; and her husband Charlie D. Rogers. She is survived by : her siblings, William Henry Roland, Luther Roland, Julian Roland, G. C. Roland, Olive Roland, Myrtle Roland, Maudell Rouse, Ludell Rutherford, Cathrine Harper and Geneva Roland; her daughter Carol Spires (Clarence) of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Charles Rogers (Sandra), Sammy Rogers (Mary), Sheri Gordon (Alan) of Valdosta, Jessica Packer (Fiance' Chris Efaw) of Tifton, Charley Nowicki (Kyle) of Atlanta, Mandy Luke (Randy), Kaycee Whitley (Chris), Angie Rice (Wade) and Heather Phillips (Clint); and also Clarence Spires. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
