We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dedra Iler of Townsend, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia. As we bid Dedra farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dedra is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son Joshua Iler; and her siblings, Alton Hope, Joyce Hope, Mike Hope, Lynn Hope and Ralph Hope.
She is survived by: her son Jack Iler of Townsend; and her brother Henderson Hope (Juliane) of Townsend. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morgans Chapel Church.
