She was predeceased by: her son Antonio Mercado Umanzor; her siblings, Rubenia and Maria Mercado; and her grandson Jose Reyes. She is survived by: her husband Pedro Umanzor; her mother Maria Cecilia Mercado; her children, Reyna Umanzor (Jamie Flores), Alicia Reyes (David), Sandra Rivas, Jose Mercado Umanzor (Helen) and Cesar Mercado (Claudia); her siblings, Ilbea, Ricardo, Santos, Blanca and Lucia Mercado; her grandchildren, Melissa Mendiola, Denisse Flores, Genesis Flores, Charlie Reyes, Jasmine Reyes, Christopher Reyes, Leslie Rivas, Giselle Rivas, Chelsea Rivas, Eric Umanzor, Karla Padilla, Andrew Umanzor, Ian Umanzor, Elio Herrera, Kimberly Mercado, Cesar Junior Mercado and Brian Mercado; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Aeson and Arlet Mendiola.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Hill Haven Memory Gardens (490 Edmondson Rd, Monroe, GA 30656).
