It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine B Hammontree of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Hammontree; and her parents, Gene Johnston and Betty Johnston. She is survived by: her son Tyler; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Hammontree of Rocky Face; her grandsons, Connor and Carson Hammontree; and her sisters, Kathy (Tommy Jones) and Janice Talley of Chatsworth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2627 Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
