She was predeceased by : her husband Lillard Stringer; her son Dale Stringer; her parents, Judson McAllister and Rubye McAllister; her siblings, Ralph, Kenneth McAllister, Mary Lee Kendrick, Dorothy McDade and Mildred Bramlett; and her son-in-law Ronnie Poteet.

She is survived by : her children, Edwin, Michelle Stringer, Mac Stringer, Kathy, Jimmy Ballew, April and Jody Leslie; her brother Bryan; her sister-in-law Wanda McAllister; and her grandchildren, Todd Poteet, Douglas Whitener, Shane Stringer, Harley Stringer, Blake Stringer, Kyle Stringer, Alex Stringer, Marvin McCormick, Nolan Poteet, Summer Plowman, Whitney Mills, Tori Johnson and Payton Poteet. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
