She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Russell and Betty Compton Russell; her daughter Sommer Hennessee; and her great grandchild Parker Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Dana Colan Rogers; her daughter Sheri Dawson (Kevin) of Ringgold, Georgia; her son-in-law Eddie Hennessee; her grandchildren, Preston Merritt (Katelyn Jackson), Kheri Merritt Hennessee, Penelope Hennessee, MiKadyn Hennessee and Brady Breedlove; and her great grandchildren, Presley Merritt and River Merritt.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (diabeted.org) or Ringgold Church of Christ.
