He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulen Smith and Frances Smith; and his siblings, Mary Overby, Elizabeth Scroggins, Hulen Smith Jr. of Marion Smith, J. W, Floyd Smith, James Smith and Eddie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Smith; his children, Crystal Smith of Tunnel Hill and Bradford; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Smith of Chatsworth; his brother Tom Wade Smith of Rocky Face; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Clinton, Shelly, Peanut, Korbin and Victoria. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2627 Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel Hill First Baptist Church Jireh fund.
