She was predeceased by : her parents, William Sanford and Ella May Hamby Wall; her husband Henry A. Ivester, Jr.; her daughter Joann Yvonne Ivester; her daughter-in-law Della Ann Broome Ivester; and her great grandchild Ryan Ivester.

She is survived by : her children, Jim A. Ivester (Ann Gosnell), Janie (Tim Nichols) and Judy (Howard Johnson); and her grandchildren, Amanda (Sean Brock) of Cornelia, GA, Tina, Kevin Ulrich of Woodstock, GA, Charles Ivester of Turnerville, GA, Kim Ivester Dumas, Eddie Dumas of Commerce, GA, Al Ivester of Toccoa, GA, Charity, Brian Williams of Buford, GA, Chancey, David Gersmehl of Cumming, GA, Brandy, Todd Westbrook of Alto, GA, Ben and Kristel Johnson of Flowery Branch, GA. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 20th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel (5495 GA-197, Clarkesville, GA 30523). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 21st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Turnerville Church of God (2829 Old Historic U. S. 441, Turnerville, GA 30580). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 21st 2023 at the Turnerville Church (Hollywood Church Rd, Georgia 30523).
