He was predeceased by : his parents, William Frank Walker and Mabel Poore Walker; his wife Betty Jean Taylor Walker; his brother Preston Walker; his daughter Bonnie Breaux; and his grandson DeShawn.

He is survived by : his children, Charles Lloyd Walker of Hilton Head, SC, Virginia Walker and Myra Walker. He is also survived by Twin City; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
